i have only had the droid 2 global three days now, but often times when i am holding it normally (vertically) the screen will go black while i am using aps. it also does this while i am trying to use the camera vertically. is this because there is something wrong with the phone or is it just bc the battery is not fully charged (the battery isnt that low, maybe 30%)?

If you aren't actively using the device the screen will go off. This is by design.
If you are pushing buttons, touching the screen etc., then there is something wrong.

30%, believe it or not, is low. Say your car engine is running at 30%, it wouldn't be going too fast. However, that isn't causing your problem. Sounds like you downloaded an apps which is causing your problem. Either that, or you have a defective device.
