sd card not having pics on it?

i broke my first phone got another one put the sd card in the new one from the old phone and the pictures from my old phone are not on it? yes the pictures were saved to it it says that there is like 1.5 megs of data on it but when looking through it on the computer there is nothing on it. and nothing on the phone. anyone have any ideas?

Thanks to the community for posting. @noco412 there are some very good suggestions here. I would also like to add that you should try reading the card on another computer. Also, I would try putting the card into another phone and see if the card reads. If not, it could be a defective sd card. To verify if it is your card, get another sd card and save photos on it from either phone and try to read the card via the computer. I hope this helps. Thanks.

go to the market place and download some type of sd card reader i use SDrescan.......this will show all pixs on card to new phone in gallery once app is ran, you will have to run randomly....
