There is no way to move apps to the memory card/sd card. Supposedly with the 2.2 update coming that should be available

I have the 2.2 update and still don't see a way to move my apps to the sd card. I went into settings and then SD card & phone storage and it seems like the only option is to unmount sd card which will erase everything! HELP PLEASE

With 2.2 there is the ability to move apps on the SD card. But it is a feature that the developer has to add in the app. So what you really need to do is ask the developer of the apps you want to have this feature. If the feature is not in the app, you wont be able to move the app.

I take my post back. I just found out that you can save apps to the sd card without the 2.2 update but you will need an app to do it. You can use the app called atrack dog. Just export the apps to the sd card

Are you sure this is to save apps or simply apks to the SD Card? I was under the impression that this can not be done in 2.1 because of the security restrictions to devices files.. I have read the description of this app and it states it was used to backup aps to the memory card, has you verified this as working because if it does I must be misunderstanding description.

I don't have the updated version of atrackdog.I just tried it on my phone though. I went to open my sd card on my computer to see if I could see anything. All I saw was a list of apps that I have on my phone
