*sigh* My phone has become PUK locked and I have no idea how. PLEASE someone helpe me.

As the title states, my Droid 2 Global has become Pin Unlock Code locked and I'm not sure how. I was going through the process of locking it, and the screen went black halfway through the process and locked itself.

So, I called Verizon...

They said my only choice is to take it to a store to fix it. The closest store is a 2-hour drive and I won't be able to get there until about 6 days from the writing on this post. Does anyone have any ideas of how to fix it? I tried the last 4 digits of my number, and "40" as the customer service lady suggested, but nothing has worked. I don't know that I can do witihout a phone for a week lol.

Well, I looked through the forums and found a thread where someone else had the same exact problem. So, I called the number given and was walked through a solution

so how did you get it unlocked? I have the same problem. not sure about getting around this forum, couldn't find "thread" just 2 comments
