ive got 2 guys at wotk that have the incred. and i just got the x. i see that they get 3 to 4 bars at 3g where im only getting 1 bar 3g or hardly a 1x signal. ??? does anyone know y this maybe
I know some other people have been having some issues with the signal/reception. Have you tried dialing *228 + send & press option 2?

These people JUST got the phone. I would suspect when they activated the phones last Thursday that they are on the most up to date PRL.
i've actually seen this mostly the other way around. other threads on here are about the X having 3-4 bars when the inc only has 1 or 2????
I have the same problem. I have been to the Verizon store 3 times regarding the issue. They told me their next suggestion was to do a hard boot which will erase everthing and put the phone back to it's orginal state. They couldn't guarrenty that this would fix the problem.
They said that they could send this phone and get a new one, but we all know that the back order status on the delivery of the Droidx. Or I could use my old phone until they can get the phone back....not an option in my book.
Has anyone found a solution for the low reading on the network?
