Is the droid charge ever getting another software update ?
Bittersweet news becndarin, yes the Droid Charge is going to get another software update, it will be getting build FP5, which is a slight jump over the last FP1 update, this looks like its going to be a small minor bug fixer. The biggest issue is the cracking/popping noises for most from the radio, hopefully this is actually addressed in this update. It should be rolling out over the next week. What is a shame is that we have waited this long for another update and it looks like it is just a small update, minor, not Ice Cream Sandwich, or Jelly Bean. It has been quite a few months since the last FP1 update (March), you would think that this would include a bit more than its 19.3MB size ;/ At least a working Google Chat Video would be nice to see, as well as a newer version of Touchwiz, and some bloat taken out But, I don't think we are getting any of that, just some work done to the cracking and popping issues seems to be it.
