I have set up speed dial on my phone but can't seem to use it. If I dial "6" for example in the dialer I get a verizon message saying the call cannot be completed as dialed. How do you use speed dial with the Droid X?
I'm assuming that you added a contact's name to a number (except No. 1 which is for voicemail). Just in case you haven't, here is how you do it. Tap on the phone handle icon (bottom left). Hold finger on a number, say no. 2; A popup Menu will come up asking if you wish to assign a contact to that number. Tap ok. Then tap on the contact you wish to assign to that number. Or, once the key pad is up, tap on the menu key, and to the right you will see "speed dial setup." Tap on that and you can just go down the list.
