mines won't work says (your location is temporary unavailable! ) what do I do unavailable one quick question there 3 options vzw n standalone n Google is it possible yo just put standalone gps or must I use that plus either the vzw or Google gps services

Yes, you can select the setting for Standalone GPS, without selecting the others, and it should work. As I understand it, the other settings, if selected, allow Verizon or Google to track your phone so that they can offer "location services" such as Places.
