The last week I have yet another new problem with my new phone. I either send new texts or send replies and think my message has gone through. At a later time I will get the red x showing it has not been sent. Sometimes I don't even get the problem notice. Sometimes I don't even have the option to choose "resend."

Hello sugarrungirl,
I can certainly assist with your text messaging. Just to confirm, the device that is giving you the issue is a Droid Incredible 2, correct? In order for me to get a better understanding oft he issue, I have a few questions to ask. They are as follows:
- What city and state are you in?
- How much available device memory do you have?
- What software version are you running on the device?
- Are you using any 3rd party messaging apps?
- Is there a signature present on your text messages?
Once the questions above have been answered then I can confirm if it's device related or network related. If the issue is device related then here are some steps that can be taken to resolve the issue.
- Clear cache on the web browser and other commonly used apps.
- Delete all long text message threads
- Verify the dialing pattern on the text message recipient is a 10-digit number. (Check the number in the contacts as well)
- Confirm that there isn't any message restrictions ( on the phone & on My Verizon)
- Perform a factory reset (see link below)

Once a factory reset has been done then the device would need to be reactivated. There is a tutorial on the device that will walk you through this process. Once the device has been activated, please test the text messaging to confirm that your messages are being delivered. If not then please reply with your findings so I can further assist.
Thank you...
