transfering video to pc?

I went to a concert last night,Scorpions,I shot a few vids and when i came home to put them on my pc everything tranfered except for the sound of each video??? Why is that?My pc says to look up a "codec' for the sound.Does anyone know which codec I should install? Has anyone else had this problem with their Inc. to pc transfers? thanks for the help!

I've had a similar issue with 3GP files, which is what your cell phone records video to. You can probably find a video player that specifically plays 3gp files. I've found that Quicktime is good for playing those files. Otherwise you could also use a video converter and convert the 3GP file into a more common format.

I have quicktime and when it plays the vids there still is no sound.maybe I need to update it or something.thanks

or get "any video converter." it converts most file types to a common file type (i think mp4?).
