other than plugging in my usb cord to my computer what is the next step to transfer my pictures off my droid-X2 phone to my computer? I have over 5,000 pictures on it and need to transfer and delete them so my phone won't be so slow. Please step me through how to correct my problem.

You can buy an adapter ( Walmart, Verizon, Target) and put your SD card in it, then put the adapter in your PC. The pictures are on the SD (memory) card. Make sure you *** UNMOUNT *** the SD card BEFORE you take it out. If you don't do this , it could result in you losing all your pictures.... it happened to me.
After you insert the adapter in the PC, go to START, then Computer, then click on SD card ( if it's not there , give it a minute) . After you click on the SD card on the PC then click on DCIM then Pana... this last sentence is how it is on my PC , it might be different on yours.
The adapter also comes with a SD (memory) card. There are different sizes. 1G 5G etc.... Good Luck.... !
