trouble with multi-media docking station

I have used my multi-media docking station every night since I got the phone in September. Last night I put my phone in and went to sleep only to wake up at 5 and realize that its not charging.

 

I took the phone off and put it back on and it still won't charge. After several tries I got up and got my usb charger and my phone charges fine on it.

 

Any ideas??

Did you try taking the plug out of the back of the docking station and then reinserting it. Maybe it was knocked loose.

tried that. Even tried plugging the dock charger into my phone and it wouldn't charge my phone that way either.

Sounds like your charger may be bad. Can you try another charger, maybe try plugging the USB charger into the dock.

just tried plugging my usb plug in and it worked. so i guess it's my charger. is there a certain wattage i need to look for when i look for a charger?

If you are not going to get it through Verizon, just match the values that are on your current charger.

Sometimes the cradle fitting gets out of whack and while it looks like it may be securely in the cradle, it isn't. One night it looked like it was in the cradle and in the morning my X was dead. It can be a bit tricky fitting it. I adjusted the USB port on the dock a bit, with my finger, and mine is fitting better.
