txting more than 3 pages

Does anybody know why my droid x wont send txt msgs longer than 3 pages.....I would understan if I was txting some with a different wireless provider but im txting my girlfriend and she's a Verizon customer..........plzzz help

I believe there is a limit on the ammount of characters you can send.

Besides, if i got 3 pages of text.........DELETE!

I would say this is because its a sms not a emai, sms has a limit of lettets that can be sent, anything more than 160 letters can not be sent.  SMS represents Short Message Service, 3 pages is far from short,,

Ummm, you replied to a thread that is almost two years old. As for your question, have you thought of emailing the application developer through their contact info in the Play Store? They made the app and they would have the answers you seek.

I understand about the 160 characters but when txt mobile to mobile there shouldn't be a limit on the amount of pages you send....I used to have a dare and the txting on that phone was fine.......I don't want to add to the list of problems with 2.2 but before the update I was able to send more than one page.....

I can send more than one page but it shows on your phone as one complete message but it splits the messages into multiple text messages when sent, but I am still not getting why would you need to send such a large test message, would a email be better or simply call them if the message is that long?  At least thats my opinion.

An email will work perfect is she had a smart phone but she has the mg dare..........its just weird how I was able to txt more than a page and now I can't........im guessing one of the txt msging app from the market will fix this...........

Try Handsent SMS. It should do what you want.. it is one of the more popular apps for this that the users seem to like the most.

Try sending the message as a MMS message instead of a text.
