usb charging issue

my incredible charges fine plugged into a wall charger, but when I plug it into my computer to usb charge it cycles through charging/not charging, and it also seems to be an issue with my car charger, I thought the charger was bad but the issue seems to be happening now with my computer also..

any clues?

I went into the verizon store and they told my my phone was no good and I need to replace it, I had a real hard time believing that to be the case and with nothing to lose I played around with the power cables.

I took a pair of needle nose pliers and lightly squeezed the end of the mini usb cable and the problem is solved.

Very disapointed with the verizon store trying to just sell me a new phone, and not even trying to have me try a new car/usb charger.
