I got the droid yesterday as an upgrade. I love it but can anyone tell me if there is a way to put the whole phone in vibrate mode? If you put it on silent the notifications still come through audibly. I want to be able to bring it to class and such without it audibly going off all the time.
Thanks for your help

So just decreasing the volume using the volume buttons on the side and setting it to vibrate doesn't work? I've only had the Droid for a couple days, that is what I've done and I think it works.

On the Droid Eris, if you hold down the End/Power button, you will be given the option for silent mode as well as vibrate mode, along with power off and whatnot. Not sure if this applies to the Droid too or not, though, and I haven't had a chance yet to try what each mode does specifically.

Doesn't matter though, I'm having the same issue with the Eris, even when it is on vibrate mode, alarms and calendar alerts come through audibly... sucks
