With my original Droid- I set it up so when I call voice mail with a speed dail it automatically put my pass word in so I do not have to enter it.
Has anyone found a way to do the same with the DroidX?

Thanks for the reply-
Even though I changed the voicemail contact in my contacts- it did not seem to change the voicemail button on the home screen for voice mail.
How do I edit the behavior of the "widget" so I can add the pause & password?
Thanks again for the reply.

If you want to change Voicemail button go to Settings / Call Settings / Voicemail Settings and select contact or place the munber in cell with pause or wait and password..... This will set it for VM button...

OK here what I have tried:
I have done what you suggested in the call setting- still does not work
However in the recent made call column where my recent calls are and I hit the voice mail- it works fine!!
I am very puzzled & perplexed!
Waiting for you thoughts, and thanks for all the help.

Very cool Wildman ... so what app do you have that captures those screen images? I assume you're NOT rooted or anything like that?

Sounds like the recent is from saved data but you must not be replacing the VM speed dial to that same number... When you go to Settings / Call Settings / Voicemail Settings is the password listed?
