weather widgets

I installed weather skin from SD and weather skin downloader. when downloading it says "the skin file is a zip that will be downloaded to your SD card, make sure you unplug the usb connection". What the heck is a SD card? and what is a weather skin? after downloading, the weather widgets stays the same. I like weather stuff so I wanted this but I dont know anything about smart phones (this is my first one) and the weather widgets are not doing anthing. HELP

An SD card is a small memory devices that can be inserted into some electronic products, such as camcorders. They are used for storing digital media such as audio, video, or picture files. A Weather skin is the type of background in which you would like the widget to appear. Here's a couple below.

Dark Sense: dark_sense_clock.zip

Sensible: sensible_clock.zip

NexTheme: nex_clock.zip

Dark NexTheme: dark_nextheme_clock.zip

Here's how to apply the skin to the widget.

Pull up your apps tray and scroll down and open Weather Widgets. When it opens scroll down to weather skin preferences and clock skin preferences right below it. Click on clock skin downloader and download some skins. (or weather skin downloader) Hit back to get back to your weather widgets settings. Now click on "install clock skins from SD card". It will pull up skin files you just downloaded. Click on a skin and then click OK, and click home. Within seconds, the skin will change. If you don't like it, repeat the process until you find one you like! Hope this helps! :smileywink:

sd card is your tiny little memory card. skins are the way your applications will look. they have lots of skins for different looks.
