why does my droid x 2 constantly glitch

so i had had multiple droid x's and all of them were terrible. they constantly shut off and would not reboot and i h=would have to take them to verizon to get them to fix it an if they couldnt they would just send me a second one, this happened four times. they eventualy just sent me a droid x 2 because they didnt make droid x's any longer. now that i have this phone it ontinually glitches, while sending a text the phone will freeze and turn off, or just turn ooff randomly. other times it is disfunctional ue to the fact that i cant press a button or anything on screen. other times after i put into sleep mode ill turn it back on and tthe slide to open doesnt even appear. what the heck is going on?

I am also having issues with mine and my key board keeps going up and down like the phone is possessed and has mental issues I am highly pissed I love my phone but hate the headake I go to store and they say they cant do nothing and i wait on hold forever It is highly pissing me off and thinking I need to consider a change

because you dont keep your apps up to date, dont clear out your data, never reset you sd card and use stupid apps like taskkiller,lookout or watchdog

android, marketed for everyone but it really shouldn't be. I agree with the change though, you might like iphone better its easier for the user to control

hmmmmm listen commonsense apparently you dont have any. Verizon themselves recommend those apps because they do their jobs obviously its not those apps its other apps that are doing this,  The iphone on the other hand is stupid. Why would you want to have a phone that apple themselves put a program in it so that they can track your movements 24/7.  Plus they can also see what you do on your phone. I myself will deal with these problems before i let anyone track the things i do and the places i go.

if only there was a setting to opt out..

and of course the sales guy tells you about apps.. but if you call and get a real tech at vzw they will always tell you to uninstall bloatware like advance task killer, battery managers and virus scanners.

I'm on Droid #29.  It sounds like you have a bad board.  You need to get it replaced.  Call tech support and explain the issues.

I recommend running any replacement Droids for a week or two without any added apps so you know WITHOUT a doubt that the problem is the Droid and not an app.  Then load an app at a time and see what happens.  Verizon gives me a hassle about Lookout, but they don't have anything that can do what it does if my phone is lost or stolen and none of the people I've talked to really know anything about the application.  I silenced this as an issue when I ran a phone without it and experienced the very same problems as the previous phone.  So don't let their talking points throw you.  There are, of course, apps that will present problems.  That's why I suggested loading one at a time.
