why is my droid X sending text messages with random numbers

Sometimes one of my contacts will receive my messages and she can't see what I typed.
Here's an example:

What network is the other user on?

The other user is on Cricket wireless

It looks like raw hexdecimal code.

 

Might be some compatibilty issue between Verizon and Cricket.

 

Complain to Verizon and have them look into it...

 

I think they're having problems with T-mobile also.

Nah, Tao. If the OP if having this issue WITH ONLY ONE contact (and "sometimes" at that), why would it be Verizon's problem?

I would check with Verizon, but only after having that contact check with THEIR provider first.
