Desktop App for Landline Use

I have a landline with my Fios bundle.

At work I use Avaya on my desktop PC to make phone calls.  It is very useful.

Does Fios have a similar app for their landline or VoIP home phones?

Thank you.

The monthly Verizon statement should indicate which telephone service is being provided. For my use case,  Digital Voice (which drives my Avaya Partner ACS ) works out quite nicely. 🙂

Note that the IP telephone service might be reserved for Business Accounts. When my church migrated from Verizon legacy copper to Fios, a choice between traditional and IP telephone service was offered.

I don't remember seeing that choice when I migrated my home service from legacy to Fios (although that was back In 2008). 😄

I subscribe to Verizon Fios Digital Voice, which mimics traditional POTS, but have vague recollections of another telephone service being offered by Verizon for Fios Business accounts. The service is a VoIP-based offering.

Off the top, I am not aware of Verizon offering apps similar to Avaya's.

My thought would be to contact the Verizon Sales Office to see if they know of any such apps. 🤔

Thank you.  I will ask Verizon. Maybe I have Digital Voice, the plan may have changed.

Thanx
