Need an old GTE box removed at recently purchased property. This is at the end of the driveway and the driveway is very narrow and needs to be widened for construction equipment. Was told by a phone rep that Verizon took over GTE years ago. Was transferred multiple times and no one can help. Customer service via the phone is less than stellar.
Is Verizon the RBOC (Regional Bell Operating Company) in your area?
Verizon has acquired and sold-off territories. For example, Verizon left the states of Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont and those states are now served by Consolidated Communications while Verizon's territories in California are now owned by (I believe) Frontier Communications.
