So I purchased my Grandparents house which has been pretty vacant for some years. During this time the old land line was disconnected. Eventually a new number was assigned & is the current number there. I’m trying to reactivate the original line that is still not been reassigned to another person & still belongs to Verizon, this number was active at the same address for 35+ years & has sentimental value to me so I would love to have it back. I have called Verizon CS and someone tried to help me at first but then said she couldn’t figure out how to do it and I’ve almost given up but see a few people getting responses on here so figured I’d give it a shot. Please if anyone knows the best way to go about getting this line back or what to say on the phone with CS I’d greatly appreciate it!
PS- I’ve called the number multiple times over the years & it still give the error this line is not in service.
