Simultaneous Ring does not work

Simultaneous Ring feature is set but does not work. Verizon Technical Support is worthless. Problem is not resolved.  

Dropping Verizon.  Why pay all this money for services that don’t work.

What happens when Simultaneous Ring is active?

After posting my reply yesterday, I activated simultaneous ring on my telephone line and entered my mobile phone as the first line to ring to.

About 20 minutes ago, a telemarketing call came in. The call rang my home phone. The call was also forwarded to my mobile phone, but I was unaware of it because I have my mobile phone account set to send suspected spam calls straight to voicemail.

When I checked my mobile phone's call log, I saw the call record with a time stamp that matched the time the call rang in on my landline. 🙂

I have deactivated simultaneous ringing and I'm back to calls ring in only on my landline.

I have had my settings set to Simultaneous Ring to my mobile phone for years. Suddenly, my calls are not being sent to my mobile from my Verizon FIOS phone.  Support was not helpful in resolving the issue.  Several reboots of the router and TV did not work.
