Hello.
I recently was forced to switch from the old standard landline to FIOS.
I went to a Verizon store to buy a new unit, but they told me to go to Best Buy.
No one at BB could help me!
I use ATT for my wireless mobile service, so I need something that is independent of Verizon Wireless.
I need a desk phone or a handheld remote to replace my landline.
Can someone recommend one, as I have no idea what brand or model to buy?
Thanks in advance!

If the existing telephone is a regular device, it should work with Fios telephone service.
Is there a specific reason for purchasing new telephones? 🤔

To expand a bit more. For landline service, the make of the telephone hasn't been a concern since the early 1980s when the Bell System (the telephone company) was broken up. You can use old Western Electric telephones that can be found on eBay or even modern-day telephones by AT&T/VTech. You can use corded telephones, single handset cordless telephones or multi-handset cordless telephone systems. Here at the house, I installed an Avaya Partner ACS business telephone system.
Nowadays, all but the most basic telephone service includes Caller ID, so select a telephone that can display Caller ID information.
