land line and mobile phone with same number

right now i have a land line phone and the internet.never had a problem with either.if i buy a mobile phone can i use this and have my land line number the same.i know i'll have to pay for the mobile phone also .two phones same number ?

No, it isn't possible to have both a landline phone and a cell phone use the same number. There's a call forwarding process you could use to have calls go from one phone to another, but someone else will need to chime in with details on how/if you can get this to work for a landline to forward calls to a cell.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.
