Signed up for Verizon Fios with $200 Amazon gift card (after installation) and $50 Verizon gift card (redeemable after 65 days).
Registered for the Amazon gift card from site on January 15, 2024 (no confirmation email or anything when registered)
1st agent (she was on the phone with me when redeeming) : told me it takes 24-48 hours to get the e gift card
2nd agent: (after 3 days later) I called and asked and was told that it would take 5-7 days, so I waited
3rd agent: after 7 days I still haven't received it, contacted Verizon, agent told me it takes about 14 days. waited
4th agent: told me it was sent to my email, (nothing on my email, junk, spam, trash) told me to wait till Monday Feb 5.
5th agent: today was told that they will need to create a ticket and created a ticket. Then told me please wait 4-5 days to get the issue sorted out. Told me to be on the lookout for hawkmarketplace email.
Every time I contact Verizon, I get "wait x number of days" and "don't worry you will get your card" and to this day I did not receive the gift card. Now I need to wait another 5 days and I'm probably going to get the same answer "wait", "create a ticket", "you'll get your card" if it doesn't come.
Am I ever going to get the Amazon gift card? also if I end up getting the Amazon gift card, do I have to jump through hoops again to redeem the Verizon gift card?
Why is it so complicated to redeem a sign up bonus.
