Hi, Regarding the Fios home promo with the free Samsung 43” TV—I just received mine, and unsurprisingly, it arrived completely damaged. I checked Reddit and community forums and saw multiple similar complaints.
I’ve already returned it to Samsung, but I’m concerned about what happens if the replacement is also damaged. Samsung’s handling of damaged shipments has been poor—they won’t reissue a new redemption code until the return reaches their warehouse, which could jeopardize the 30-day redemption window for the free TV.
Also, can you help me understand—if the replacement unit arrives damaged, what happens next? Will I still be eligible for another replacement or refund?
I strongly recommend Verizon look into this with Samsung to ensure customers aren’t penalized for issues outside their control.
