Meta Quest 3s redemption

I placed an order to redeem Meta Quest 3s 128gb as part of Fios promotion. It has been two weeks and no update on the order yet. The customer service rep tells me that the item is on backorder. But if you try to place an order online by paying money, it says the product will be delivered in 2-5 business days. Is verizon holding the shipments just because it was redeemed for free?

It looks like during the private chat with an agent, we were able to review that items are not being held, but the promotional items may be fulfilled from different inventories. Our accessory store is normally fulfilled by the wireless side, and as far as all of the information we have on the Verizon Fios side, and with the current promotion, there is a current backorder on the headsets. That is not to say, if one is ordered from our accessories store, there may not be a backorder on them after the order is placed. We are working with our partners to fulfill all Fios promotions as quickly as possible. 

You can check the status of your offer by signing in to your My Verizon account.
