Channel 838 Netflix Unable to Stream Live TV

Hi,

I tried to watch the NFL games on Christmas Day on Channel 838-Netflix. I logged on to my Netflix account. I selected the NFL game and got the error message that my device was not able to stream live TV.  No prior issues with 838-Netflix. I had no trouble exiting Fios TV and watching on my TV's Netflix app.  Does anyone know what the issue is with Netflix via my cable box (VMS1100 Media Server)?

Are you able to watch Netflix on the box at all? Could be they blocked it just for the games the other night.

I can watch Netflix without any issues. The only issue was when I selected the NFL game. It sated that my device was not able to stream live content. Thanks.

Can you stream any live programming?

The only other time Netflix streamed live content was the Paul/Tyson fight which was PPV. So I have no idea if Channel 838 can stream live content. I know that I was able to watch the football games via the same TV's Netflix app over WiFi. I think that narrows it down to a Verizon problem and I have not been able to speak to a live person at Verizon since the game. Verizon does not allow for a manual check for software updates.

Ok, so I just did a Google search and the AI response was that "Fios 838 is a virtual channel and does not support live TV streaming." I don't know if that is an accurate statement.
