Just got a new VMS1100 box to replace my ancient Cisco STB.
One feature that doesn't work as well as before is the channel guide, or at least I haven't figured out how to search the way I used to.
With the old guide, I could navigate to a channel, hit 'Guide' again and get all the listings for that channel in a list. I could easily scroll ahead by paging through the list or even skip ahead a day with the fast forward button. This way I could scan quickly to find shows I wanted to record on the DVR. This display even allowed me to scroll horizontally to see other channels.
I can't figure out how to do this now. I try searching for upcoming shows (after I look online on Zap2It) but this is hit-or-miss.
Any channel guide power users out there?
