Now that Showtime has been merged into Paramount+ and (as of today) SHOtime Anytime has shut down, there seems to be no way to stream SHO content on Fios when away from home.
Since the shutdown was announced a month or so ago, it was hoped that Fios would announce their plans -- but there's been silence.
Like many others, I pay for SHO as part of my Fios package. Does Fios have any plans for fixing this, like switching/modifying our SHO subscriptions to Paramount+Showtime?

Could not agree more, Fios should be informing their Showtime Customers when and how we will be able to stream 4K titles like we could with Showtime Anytime. We are paying a monthly fee and deserve to receive the same type of monthly plan that includes 4K streaming.

Verizon customer service said that there are NO plans to offer Paramountplus with Showtime to their Showtime subscribers.
Directv and U-Verse on Jan. 8 are giving their Showtime subscribers access to ParamountPlus with Showtime at no extra charge. I just let Verizon know that today.
Paramount+ with SHOWTIME® is coming soon! | DIRECTV Insider
It is a better deal to drop Showtime from Fios and sign up directly with Paramountplus which is $120 per year.
If you are a Walmart+ subscriber, you can get it for $65 per year.
I will give Verizon a few weeks to see if they respond, then I will make the switch.

Just wanted to add that Spectrum TV subscribers with Showtime are also getting access to Paramountplus with Showtime at no extra charge.
So Verizon is behind in competitiveness. Question is do they really care? Probably only if people cancel Showtime on FIOS. For me, it is cheaper to subscribe directly with Paramountplus. YMMV.

I can now get Paramount+ with Showtime through my FIOS triple play that included Showtime.
It works with a set top box, online, and the Fios TV mobile app.
https://tv.verizon.com/watch/home/ will enable watching online.
Also I can use a mobile device to cast to ROKU using the Web Video Caster app by pasting https://tv.verizon.com/watch/home/ in the Web Video Caster browser.

From what I see, it's not the full Paramount+ With Showtime; it's just the selected episodes that FiOS has with their linear P+WS channel.
For instance, the full streaming app contains all episodes of all ten Star Trek series (TOS, NG, Discovery, DS9, and so on). Through the My FiOS app, there's only Star Trek: Discovery.

I apologize for the massive amount of duplication and typos in that reply. I blame A.I., because no reason.

As NickEs has said, this is mostly re-labeling of the old Showtime content to its new name. The old Paramountplus content is not available. For instance you can't stream Top Gun - Maverick for free.
Verizon is not obligated to provide old Showtime subscribers with that content, but it is a matter of competitiveness.
AT&T, Directv and Spectrum Showtime subscribers now have access to the Paramountplus content, but Verizon Showtime subscribers do not.
Furthermore, for what I am paying Verizon for my Showtime subscription, I can go subscribe directly to Paramountplus and get all the Showtime and Paramountplus content for the same or less money.

It seems like we are nearing the end of live cable content. My Tivo served me well for many years, but it doesn't seem like its fair to pay for a service on cable and not get the streaming equivalent, especially considering how infrequently I look at "recorded" programming any more. I think I am close to the big switch, especially considering that my FIOS bill continues to creep upward.
I think that, soon, FIOS will be a big data pipe, and TV service will be like landline phone service -- don't have it; don't need it.

Customer FAQ’s
Do I now have access to the Paramount+ app?
No, the only part of your linear SHOWTIME subscription that is changing is the name and additional select content that will be made available through your Paramount + with SHOWTIME channel, On Demand, and through the Fios TV app.
What is the difference between Paramount Networks, Paramount+, and Paramount+ with SHOWTIME?
Paramount Networks is a traditional cable channel available through most TV service providers. It is best known for series such as Yellowstone.
