I tried logging on to the ABC app via the Roku streaming service with my Verizon-Fios login credentials, and live streaming is unavailable to customers. Will Verizon and ABC come to an agreement and make this available?

I also ran into this starting late yesterday. Spoke to Verizon Support on Twitter and they were unaware of any problems. I went to the ABC website and was able to open a ticket. Got this response this morning. I am getting the failure on my Fire TV stick, via my web browser and the Android app.
Thanks for providing that information and letting us know what you are experiencing. Please be advised our team is aware of this issue and is looking to have it resolved as soon as possible, but we do not have an ETA on when this may be fixed.
We appreciate your patience in this matter, if you have any other questions or concerns please feel free to reach back out to us!
Sincerely,
Morgan

I also spent an hour on the phone with Verizon support and they we're unaware of any issues. I reached out to ABC but have not received a response. I've been able to live stream ABC up until a few days ago. No one seems to know anything about why the live streaming is locked. ๐

I tried live streaming the ABC app also, on Apple TV. Nothing. Itโs not allowing me to. So frustrating. Been like this for the past three or four days. At least thatโs when I noticed it.

Any updates to ABC app not working?
I purchased a FireTV last week and ABC app is not available to my provider.
In searching to resolve the issue, I came across this board-but the most recent response here was January 2024.
On another note:. Is there a way to "hold the access" and not put the code/Fios login every time you go to the CBS app.

I get ABC code but when I put in my Verizon name and password, it says it is not correct.

I had the same problem a few months ago, now it seems to be back. Every time I tried to live stream in the ABC app, it says that it is no longer supported by Verizon Fios. This is only an issue with the live stream. Any suggestions?

Iโve faced a similar issue trying to stream a gameโsame "access denied" headache with my provider. After endless back-and-forth between app support and my service provider, the problem wasnโt resolved quickly. Logging case numbers and rep names helped me escalate later. In the meantime, checking forums like this often led to quicker workarounds or updates. It's frustrating, but knowing others are in the same boat can help you push for answers. Hopefully, Verizon and ABC resolve this soon. Hang in there!
