verizon upgraded me to vms4100. 4100 has no manual record option. recorded the last hour of a show i ws watching via by hitting record button using the guide. when went to play back the recording, it started at least one hour prior to me hitting record. This caused me to have to fast forward to get to where i started the recording. Is this normal or am i doing the manual recording wrong?
