Is there a way or an app available where I can control an Arris VMS1100 using my Android phone?
My mom who has dementia is having a hard time changing channels and turning on/off her TV set. She sometimes get stuck on a screen saver and doesn't know what to do. If I can do this remotely using my cellphone to take over and change channels, control the volume button, turn the TV on, etc, rather than physically being at her home to do these, this would save a lot of time and aggravation for me.
I know there is Jubilee TV that could do this, but that system requires a new set of hardware to attach to the Arris VMS 1100 and a separate monthly subscription.
