The router gets connected to the ethernet cable that comes from the ONT on the outside of the house. It is the same ethernet cable that went to your original router. Since you no longer have TV with Verizon, you won't need the coax cable any more. The Roku plugs into the TV with an HDMI cable, or directly if it is a stick type. You then get into the Roku setup screen and go to WiFi, and tell it to use the WiFi the new router provides.
