DVR Boxes green light blinking

A few days ago, I had a problem that router G3100 got disconnected from DVR boxes (I have to boxes). I changed the coax cable (from DVR boxes to router) and for a couple of days the problem did not occur but then reappeared but not as often as previously.

Now I noticed that the two DVR boxes have the green light blinking. This just started a few days ago. I searched for help in the internet and it said that could be the boxes are updating software, or they have to be restarted. I reset/restarted boxes, I waited for software updates, also I reconnected coax cable from ONT to DVR. Nothing seems to work. Lights keep blinking no stop. I can watch TV and I can record programs, but the blinking tells me that there could be a problem.

Any suggestions?

As with the other thread yo started, the boxes were getting a firmware update. next time do NOT unplug them or you may corrupt the download.

You can call tech support and have them push the update to your boxes again.

Thanks, fortunately the green blinking stopped this morning after almost two days of blinking. For now, it is working well. The blinking stopped and the other issue, router disconnecting from wifi, has not reappeared.
