For years I have watched local Philadelphia channels on the FIOS TV Mobile App while walking in my area, a suburb of Philadelphia.
In recent months, I get error message:
This channel is unavailable for streaming in this geographic region.
Error code: 33-PLYB_CRS-154
All the rest of the cable channels work fine, and the locals work when I am home on the WiFi.
I have an active support ticket through the FIOS TV Mobile app, and started one with a representative over the phone. (There doesn’t seem to be a Chat option anymore.)
So far, no one has figured out why this happens, though they have escalated it to developers, etc.
Anyone else experiencing this, or know why it’s happening.
My friend has XFinity and her streaming app works fine for locals outside of the home.
