Fios One error 3rd party router

I am trying to set up a new Fios One STB. I keep getting an error message  “ Third Party Router detected”.

I am using a new Verizon router but even after troubleshooting it still happens.

Some questions to start the ball rolling...

Which model router has Verizon supplied?

How is the STB connected to the router?

What troubleshooting steps, if any, have been tried to resolve the issue so far?

For any coaxial cable, are splitters rated MoCA 2.0 or higher?

It. Is the CR1000A. . The STB is not directly connected to the router. The router is connected to the FIOS  cable and an Ethernet cable. I went through all of the troubleshooting steps shown on screenn and  the tests on the Verizon website. When my old router did this, I chatted with Tech Support went through some steps. They said I needed a new router, but it didn’t fix it.  The splitter I used is the one Verizon sent.

Thank you for responding

I'm a little unclear of the way that the STB is connected. The legacy Verizon Fios STB connects to the ONT via coaxial cabling.

A coaxial cable connects to the "F" connector on the ONT to the input of a splitter. One output of the splitter should connect to the appropriate connector on the back of the CR1000A router. Another output of on the splitter connects to the back of the STB.

Does this setup look like the setup in your house? 🤔
