Fios TV+ DVR: How to Clear Program Info on Pause Screen

Hello,

When a recorded program is paused, the image fades out a bit and the program info is displayed in the bottom left.

Is there any way to dismiss this and see the paused screen at normal brightness without the program info?

I will typically pause on text or other interesting shots to look at more closely. The current setting makes that annoyingly difficult.

Sorry if there is an obvious answer but I just got Fios TV+ and am just getting familiar with the functions of this Android-driven device. If there is a page or site with advanced tips and tricks, that would also be great.

Thanks in advance for your time and help.

not so helpful but appreciate it nonetheless.

The only other thing I can think of is there may be a setting in the:
