Fios TV One + Alexa?

Is TV One compatible with Alexa?

I installed the Alexa app, it searched and found a device...  A long numeric character string, like 25 characters with a single hyphen towards the end...  (No indication this is the streaming device or the STB, just that number)

And when asking my Echo Dot to change the channel, it properly says 'tuning to xyz' or whatever the exact language is...  But then nothing.

I don't think it's truly compatible even though the product page suggests it is.  (The Amazon skill has quite poor reviews)

Yes, I did see that.  And note that there is no D on the streaming box remote.

Regardless when setting up the Alexa skill, it does have me sign into my VZ account...  And the Echo does search the network and comes up with that long string id'd device name.

When I tell it to tune to CNN for instance, the Echo spot does respond it is tuning to CNN on Fios, but then nothing happens.

I'd try uninstalling the skill, re-downloading and re-installing it.

Sorry - to be clear...

It appears to be the VZ Fios TV+ platform, utilizing the stream device, ASK-STI6220.

Look here for how to setup for Alexa:

And here for Google devices:

Can't guarantee either will do what you want though.
