So many issues with our FiosTV One…
many DVR recordings are completely stuck. They won’t delete (says delete failed).
Recording is a mess. It will say record but not show the recording check in the guide.
Some daily series we have set to record is marked as record in the guide, but doesn’t actually record.
I often get recording failed messages when trying to record from guide as well.
Things I’ve tried:
Have gone through all the fios troubleshooting options on their website & app.
individually rebooted all our dvrs from the fios support, as well as physically unplugging for 30 secs.
rebooting and troubleshooting the main server.
rebooting out wi-fi
How do I fix this??
So frustrated especially with how much we are paying for this.

You could try a cold initialization, (Factory Reset) but it will wipe the DVR;
COLD Initialize instructions:
You need to cold initialize the server box.I found how to "Cold Initialize" the
VMS 4100 (The main stb)
*First put your remote into IR mode if you have already paired it over bluetooth (hold play/pause and the
0 button for 3 seconds)
Next, unplug the VMS from power, plug it back in and immediately start pressing the menu button over
and over until the SECOND light on the VMS turns GREEN, lastly press the 0 button on the remote*
If you are successful, the stb should go through the activation process over again. Once that is complete,
just power cycle the client box that you have the issue with and it should go throught the process.

I have the exact same issue. My new reote by the way does not have play pause etc. - these functions are now done on the screen. It is sad tho have to wie the dvr clean, I was on with tech for an our and they could not fix it. they said support has to come to our home. No doubt they will wipe it as you have suggested.
