I just installed my new fios plus tv equipment. It will not adjust the tv volume. Oddly, my old tv remote will not adjust the volume either anymore. I have unpaired the remote and rei-installed it. I rebooted the set top box and removed the batteries from the remote, reconfigured it but it still does not work. Many of the posts mention pressing menu first but these new remotes do not have a menu button.

Will the remote that came with the TV still adjust the volume?
