My parents got Fios and the remote situation has been a nightmare.
The Fios remote will not change the volume. The rep said since they were a customers for awhile they would send a new remote. Still won’t work. Went though the whole rebooting on router, unplug tv etc. still won’t work
My mom then spoke with a rep and she said the signal strength might not be good since she has a ring doorbell (?!?!?) so talked her into upgrading her plan. I am furious since the two are not related!!!! Going to help her sort that out tomorrow.
Anyways was told to use a universal remote, only to find out that will not work with Bluetooth.
How can we get the Fios remote to change the volume on a 2019 Sony TV or get a universal remote to work? Seems from googling this is a common issue - but cannot find a resolution.
