My set top box is stuck trying to reset.

Verizon,
My set top box is stuck trying to reset. I get two green lights, A red and green light. Then two white lights and it all starts over again,
I have called four times and every time your automated system tries to transfer me to an Agent you hang up on me. I am stuck and cannot get help past your automated bots that can't fix the problem.

Is this a legacy Fios Set Top Box (4100 series used for Fios One cable) or the newer box used for Fios Plus service (streaming)?
If this is the Fios One unit, and iit hasn't been tried already, power down the STB for 5 minutes and then power it up again. See if the unit is able to successfully update/reboot. 🤔

As dexman said, REMOVE power from the box, for 5 minutes, also remove power from the router. don't just reboot. Power the router back up, then the box when the router is stable. Hopefully the box will update. If not you have to get a tech to push the update to your box, which means somehow getting in touch with support.
