Loss of guide data is usually caused by bad coax connections or bad, out of spec splitters. Get new MoCa 2.0 splitters to replace any existing ones, and check the coax cables for any bad connections by removing and re-doing them. You have to have data on coax coming from the router to the Primary fios box.

Two questions:

. Which Verizon television service is being subscribed to? Is it Verizon+ (the streaming service) or is it the legacy television service?

. Is the router a Verizon provided model or an alternative unit?

At one time, I remember that using a non-Verizon router in conjunction with legacy cable television required specialized programming in the router in order for the STBs administrative functions to operate properly. I don't know if this is still the case, or if it applies to the Fios+ STB's.

As Clem mentioned, using coaxial cable hardware that is not MoCA 2.0 or higher can cause issues with functionality.  😐

I always like to suggest doing a top to bottom check of coaxial cabling when television service starts to degrade.

As Clem also noted, loose connections can be problematic. I would add that splitters with wide open taps can cause issues too. Coaxial cable that had been improperly prepped before the connectors are applied is another source of trouble.

But either way, please post which television service and router are in play. 🙂
