Performance with Stream TV MoCA Ethernet adapter than WiFi

Hi, I was a long time customer who was recently upgraded to Fios TV + with the VMS400ATV and stream boxes.  While connected to the WiFi, I’m not experiencing any lag or anything, but I thought that I could get performance from the one box because I thought it might be close to pushing the limit on the distance from the access point but, after purchasing and installing the Stream TV MoCA Ethernet adapter, I wired it up and the performance is awful.  When it’s on the Coax, it works but I get pixelation in the picture.  When I use it with ethernet, it mostly works but if I change the channel, I sometimes get the dreaded ‘Please wait, we are trying to tune to channel.’  Is there something that I’m missing?  I’ll probably try the web interface to see if there are any settings that I can monkey with but I wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions before I send it back for a refund.

Thanks, @clem21 .  After having it for a few more days, it seems that the performance is better once it's on.  Based on the few times that I've had to restart it to move some wires around, it seems that getting a connection after unplug/reboot seems a bit jittery compared to strictly WiFi.  For example, with the adapter + Fios plus box, you get the 3 dots loading, then a picture comes up but about 30 secs, the picture gets jittery and then catches up.  With WiFi-only, after reboot, you get the 3-dots loading and then it's just connected and streaming.  So, it could just be that the Stream box is better tested with the WiFi.  Anyway, it seems to be working now.  It would have been nice to simply include an ethernet connection to the Stream box but hey, I guess they need to make an extra buck somehow.

That's strange. All the posts I've seen say people get better results with the wired connection than the WiFi setup. Maybe you got a bad stream box.
