Hi, I've recently encountered an issue where my favorite teams sports reminders are not saving or reminding.
I go to Menu/my Sports guide/teams/ cluck my team got to team options and select follow team/Game Reminders/This device only or All devices and have tried to selecting and saving both options, countless times, but it just doesn't save any reminders. This is a recent issue that's popped up out of the blue. Also, For some reason it's only 2 of 4 teams I follow. They just won't remind the games started. Have tried unfollow/follow etc. every which way possible, but not happening, and I'm getting exasperated..
Tia for any help. Curious if anyone else has had this suddenly pop up (or not pop up anymore) also, and if there's a solution.

@Mikeykid1 wrote:Thanks Clem, I tried everything rebooting and powering down .. Trying to avoid loosing all my favs and settings after so many yrs, but unfortunately it's still not working.. Seems very odd, it's only for Bruins and Celtics reminders. They just won't stick. My other teams I get every reminder.. Missed tonights 1st period due to it.. very frustrating.. tried wiping everything sports guide, unfollow/re follow, etc but just doesn't work.. š
I wonder if there is some kind of blackout with the Boston teams we don't know about. Seems VERY strange it is only those two teams.

NESN and NBCSportsBoston are the 2 primary channels for both teams, but they both have lost more & more scheduled games, esp this season to the now dominant steaming services, like ESPN+ and others & their associated services (which unironically I already pay for a pricey sports package w a doz+ ESPN channels & many others that now just have nothing on) So, perhaps it is somehow tangled up in all these streaming service Blackouts & the teams are now being associated with areas outside my "free to me" (already paid for) services, so no longer getting reminders.. idk, all guesswork of course though.. fwiw, if I do scan into the future several days on my guide on these channels, I can manually set reminders (to the teams I already follow which is ridiculous) and they do take, then show up at game time, but that's not very practical at all & if they're not on these 2 channels, I'm lost and the point of reminders is almost completely defeated.. aand, still not quite willing to wipe yrs of family settings for my sports teams (wouldn't make me very popular at home, lol;) so, idk.. thanks again, appreciate the feedback
Can't blame you for not wanting to wipe the slate clean for a maybe fix. If the reminders work for other teams, seems logical that something is blocking the teams you want. What that is, is the big question, but as streaming is the major revenue generator, more things like this seem to be happening.

You could try a power-cycle of the router and the Fios box. Remove poser to both, wait at least 3 minutes, power the router, when stable power the Fios box. If that doesn't help try resetting the Fios box. You will most likely loose all your favorites and settings though.
