I have called twice this month, (over 4 hours on the phone) and then tried the online chat...forget that the process was a BOT and not a real person. Finally spoke to a live person who then increased my monthly fee, and told me I need a new router. During this past month I have received both email and hard copy notices I need two new boxes ,and a new router will be included with no increase in monthly fee. I then called Vzn and told them to cancel the order the Rep placed for me. I have been a VZN customer for over 11 years and the mere fact that who ever I speak to, doesn't know about the mandatory upgrade. The way they left me is to call call on March 18th and place an order for two new boxes. Really?!?!?!? Being a retired senior disable vet on a fixed budget makes no difference is one has been a long term Verizon customer. So, yes, this is pretty much where I am right now.... looking for other broadband alternatives,,,SlingTV with my OTA antenna will reduce my cost for 169.00 per month to about 80 dollars per month. PS.. I DO NOT need gigabit uplink that the REP tried to push ...
