I keep losing Fios channels and have to power down and up Fios box to get channel and or sound to return right now animal planet is spinning it's wheel again, earlier it was out then came back with no sound. Is anyone else having this problem or is it just me? Please let me know, thank you

If you have the older 4100 series boxes look here:

Main Menu > Customer Support > Top Support Tools > Fix FiOS TV Issues

Main Menu > Customer Support > Top Support Tools > Self Diagnostics

Main Menu > Customer Support > Top Support Tools>Network Diagnostics

As I replied to your earlier post, unplug power from both your router and the Fios box. Restore power to the router after 3 minutes, when stable restore power to the Fios box.

I shouldn't have to power off the router every 5 minutes to watch tv, in the troubleshooting they say if only some channels don't work but others do to check your cable, if the cable is bad no channels will work.

So that's the dumbest thing I ever heard.  They should pay me for all the times I have to wait for the router to reboot I'm keeping a record of it for the better business bureau so far I've had to reboot  25 times.

Are you rebooting or power cycling? Big difference.  Which boxes do you have? I can help more if I know. Does your internet service drop when you see the TV issues?
