I ordered the Pixel XL 128 GB on 11/25. Yesterday, I received an email from Verizon that said the earliest ship date is now March 10! Are you kidding me!! This means from the date I ordered until the earliest date I will receive the phone will be almost 4 months. Why is their silence from Verizon and Google? How could Google's supply chain management be so incompetent to allow customers to order the phone when the wait is 4 months! I can't believe I am saying this, but I am close to cancelling the order and buying an iPhone 7.
Verizon, what say you? Why can't you communicate with your customers and let us know what the problem is and what you (and Google) are doing to fix it?

To my point, if new orders are 3/3/17 then folks who ordered 5 weeks ago, back in November should be receiving their phones, providing that Google is making them available. I really find it hard to believe that Verizon is to blame. I put all of the supply issues on Google's back.

I ordered the Pixel XL 128 GB VS on Dec 17. The web site has said Jan 20 delivery date. Well that date has passed and now the site does not give me date. No email or text saying it was going to be late. I do have a very short leash here if I don't start seeing a little customer service. I would call in but after reading this thread I am think that would do absolutely NO GOOD. The thing I am surprised about is, I have seen absolutely no media coverage on this issue. From what I have been reading in this thread and other blogs is that this is a really big issue. Okay Verizon don't make me leave after being a customer for 7 years. Please do the right thing and make it right.

Cudcon, so far I have been given a $100 credit and had my activation fees waived. I have the supervisor's ID and screen shots of the chat showing the $100 credit. I'm willing to share the info with you. Send me a message if you'd like it. Hope it helps.

Only the community members who are following you and you are following them can send private messages to each other. You both have to accept each others follow request to enable the Direct Messages within the community

If I'm not talking directly to you Ann, please refrain from commenting. I was speaking to Cudcon, not you. Let he and I worry about how we exchange info if he wants it. You sure seem to know a lot about how exactly everything works with Verizon, how is that? Employee?

I know how this community works because I have been on here since 2010 and I went through the painful process of when the site changed to its current platform and was redesigned to how it is today. I was providing the information on how the DM system works here before you posted your personal information on the public forum and get yourself in trouble according to the ToS here. And since it is a public forum I and the other community members can reply to any open discussion thread we want.

So, you just assumed I didn't know how the DM process worked and assumed I didn't know that we are supposed to keep personal information off of the public forum and decided to school me? You're right, it's a public forum but it's also a general courtesy to stay out of other people's conversations. I offered to help someone and said they could contact me if they wanted. I didn't provide or ask for private info on a public forum. Cudcon could have said yes he/she was interested in sharing info then we could have followed each other to follow the proper procedure but YOU assumed we were doing something wrong and had to chime in. That's why I'm asking you to stay out of my conversations because you assume you're smarter than I am and that I don't know how to follow the rules.

The wording you used suggested you didn't know how to use the system. You said and I quote, "Send me a message if you'd like it.". The better way to phase it in this community would be to ask that they send you a follow request if they were interested and you would send one back for approval. I have seen too many new members, infrequent members and even the VZW reps pose the request for a private message in the way you did and it turn into a "How to you send a private message?" from the other community not understanding why they didn't have the permission to create and send a DM. So it is easier to "cut it off at the pass" before it goes down that particular "the dead end" road.

Cudcon, I used the chat. You have to be firm with them. They started with a $20 credit and worked up to $50. I told them I would take the $50 for both January and February since they were asking me to wait an additional 2 months. They came back and said we can't do that but we can offer you $100. Not sure what the difference was but they gave it to me.

Same situation. In fact, I can't find anybody anywhere indicating that they have received a Pixel XL 128GB from Verizon or from Google since Christmas. In fact, I think there is a severe HTC production problem. Verizon has handled my order poorly...they don't send me emails when they change the date, they simply change it and I have to discover it for myself. I finally decided to cancel my order since I am not paying full price for an Android phone that will be replaced with a new model only six months after delivery. I cancelled my order via chat since their phone support queues were so long. Yes, you guessed it, they didn't really cancel my order. I finally was able to cancel it today.
Verizon...you will be cancelled next, as soon as I decide to pay off the last few months of payments on two of the phones of my account....and I'll be moving to T-Mobile after more than 10 years with Verizon (most recently...used to use Air Touch at one time as well).
